Cold work tool steel
ALTA 1.3343 High Speed Steel Specification
Steel properties
ALTA 1.3343/M2 steel is a general type of W-Mo high-speed steel with high hardness, hot hardness and high temperature strength. It has good thermoplasticity, excellent strength and toughness. The disadvantage is that the steel is sensitive to overheating and decarburization.
Applications
² Manufacturing of heavy-duty, complex-shaped, expensive tools
² Cold forging dies, forging tools
² Strip cutting machines, head forming dies
