ALTA 1.3243 steel is a type of W-Mo series high-speed steel containing cobalt. It has improved red hardness, high temperature hardness and wear resistance than 1.3343 steel, and a good cutting performance, but has lower strength and impact toughness, and it is easy to be oxidized and decarburized.
