Steel properties
ALTA 1.2787 stainless steel has a high content of chrome that gives good resistance to the formation of scales and corrosion. It has good corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids, most organic acids and aqueous solutions of organic salts.
Its ESR quality is very suitable for glass moulds.
Applications
² Molds for pressing of glass for the industrial glass with high requirements for the glass quality, also for highly meltable, technical, tempered glass
² Manufacturing of pressing die moulds, blowing moulds and section rolls
